Notzon Advisors was founded by Nora Lee Notzon. Notzon is committed to identifying and working with the most compelling business opportunities while emphasizing the value of a personal hands-on service. Notzon's mission is to help companies grow via multiple channels. These channels may include sourcing new capital, aligning with strategic or financial partners, acquiring new assets, or spinning out assets to interested buyers. Notzon's deep relationships with global banks, private equity funds, hedge funds and industry players give her clients a broad global reach.
Having worked for 15 years in the financial industry, prior to setting up Notzon Advisors, Notzon has built up a reputation respected across financial institutions, industry players, and high net worth families. Notzon has successfully managed portfolios of over US$2 billion in global equity investments as part of a banking career which commenced as a bond options trader at BNP Paribas. She later expanded into trading global equity strategies while at Lehman Brothers, UBS, Wang Trading and finally at Deutsche Bank. Her in-depth knowledge of institutions, as well as her experience managing risk, allows her to effectively partner business opportunities with the prevailing market appetite.
Notzon is an American who was raised in Texas and speaks fluent Spanish and French. She holds a BA with Honors in Economics from Harvard University.
